Usb serial cable driver windows vista


















Thanks for your feedback. I am trying to install drivers for a USB to serial port cable on a HP Pavilion dv7 laptop Windows 7 -- I go through the download and when I plug in the cable the tool bar shows an install sequence but then an error message that install was unsuccessful.

I have tried all sorts of updates and Windows says it can't verify the signature of the device. This thread is locked. But then the IDE program I use wouldn't communicate with it properly. I borrowed a different brand usb-serial cable from a friend, it installed within 2 minutes and was working without any issues and connection worked just fine. So I then uninstall the drivers for my pc, and then unplug the original cable the one I own then after replugging in and rebooting, reinstallation occurred as expected and I am soon presented with the following screenshot:.
